AOpen EZ18 rig overheating problem

Folks,
I just put together my first SFF rig, an AOpen EZ18. It has an Athlon XP 2400+ (T-Bred core), 512MB of PC2700, GF FX5900XT AGP 8X, MSI 52X32X52X16X DVD/CD-RW combo drive, 40GB Seagate ATA100 HDD, and 56K PCI fax/modem. The problem is that at idle it runs at 53C-54C and under load it hits 63C+! I've removed the thermal pad from the factory HSF unit, cleaned the bottom with acetone to remove any residue, and applied Geil brand copper based thermal paste. I did notice that the factory HSF unit does not sit flush, or squarely upon the CPU. I believe this is causing the high temps. I'm not comfortable with tweaking the mounting clip of the stock HSF unit so I was wondering if there is an aftermarket HSF unit that would be compatible with the AOpen SilentTek software and bring my temps down some? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks folks.🙂
