Hey, I just built a computer - mobo - Epox 8k7a, amd 1.33 266 FSB, 2 sticks of 256 DDR crucial and such. I am having trouble burning any cd's with my cd burner though.

I have tried using Clone CD and Nero 5(which came with the buner). I even updated both versions and I still can not burn a cd.

I did get this error when I tried to copy a cd using Nero-
"It looks like both your source and your destination drive for the 'on the fly' copy process are connected to the same IDE bus. We would strongly recommend to connect your source and the destination drive to different IDE busses."

Any ideas?

I think you need to download and apply an aspi layer to your system. read this page about FORCEaspi & download the program from here! Thanks to Bacillus for providing that answer previously in another thread.
The error you are getting in Nero is probably not related to the issue discussed above. Nero is merely suggesting that you have your source CD-ROM and burner on different IDE channels so that you can maximize the channel bandwidth between them. This means that you should probably make your CD-ROM primary slave and your burner secondary master. You probably have them both on the secondary IDE right now.
