I'm currently running my c2-533 at 117\39 and I assume the 39 mz is the pci speed. Am I correct?
I tried 117\29.75 and it wasnt stable. This is the only fsb with the option of 29.75 or 39.

I have the same board with the same FSB settings in the BIOS that you indicate. I have always assumed that the second number is the PCI bus speed too, but I have never found anything in the user's manual or at the AOpen website that clearly documents this. But then I guess it couldn't be anything else.

The aopen ax6bc is one of the bx boards that allowed dual pci speed at 117 MHz. 1/3 and 1/2 pci sppeds ... 1/3 gives 39 while 1/4 gives 29.25
Unless i am mistaken other mobos including the Abit BX6 rev 2 had a similar setup.

That makes good sense. I found my c2-533@935 more stable at 39 than 29 though. That could be other issues too. I'm running a V3-2000 AGP. I'm getting more game lockups now though. I put it on my viewsonic 17" monitor and it ran great. Now its back on the 14".
