Title asks it all. I have a Super Slocket-III (Soyo) socket 370 to slot-1 adapter.

Anyone know for sure if the 900 will work?

Thanks! :)

I'm running that exact rig except with an asus slotkit. Had this mb for 3 years, love it and always seem to find a faster cpu for it but its end of the road now. My 900 is a cdo stepping (they only make 900 in cdo +) and has a GW modded hs/fan and I put 1.8v into it. I overclock to 1200 and my asus 6800 vid card takes it find. Its sitting in a cheap small tower right now and is hotter than it should be but runs great. Update to the last bios (2.55 I think?) and set your slotkit for coppermine(100) rather than celeron(66)
Its a great upgrade and hope you get a good cpu.

Thanks, blackhawk. :)

This is an upgrade for a friend's system and I wanted to make sure the 900 CII would work before ordering the CPU. Can't beat it for a $50 upgrade from a Celeron 366.

I've got a total of five AX6BC's still running in systems I've built at the office and for home and for friends over the years. Best MB I've ever used. I've never had one fail. Rock-solid stable.

Thanks again. :)

good to hear someone else appreciates these under rated aopen motherboards too--I've had 8 other motherboards come and go over those 3 years but this ones still solid and useful

I'm on my fifth amd mb in the last year, better performance but more difficult to set up and maintain

are the slockets you two are using able to run a Coppermine Pentium 3? or is it only for celeron? cause i wanna drop my P3 733 cB0 into my ax6bc and run it at @133 (i have a P2 350 running at 133 FSB right now so it can handle it)

The asus and abit slotkits I've used handle coppermine. The older ones were the ppga or 66/100 cpu slotkits while these ones do celeron/coppermine and are jumperable to that. Check the manufacturers site. If its fc-pga, then it'll do coppermine. The voltage settings are another clue.
