I have (for testing now) a mobo aopen ax63pro. I know it's an older mobo, but it performs great to what i've seen here. And it supports udma/66, with my ibm 60gb disk!
Now, i've got another problem with this one. Under both win2k and win98se, i have 100% processor usage when playing a DVD or a DIVX movie - when doing anything very disk intensive. I've verified that the controllers are set in DMA mode, and for win98se i've installed the supplied busmaster drivers for max performance. Nothing helped.
I didn't have these troubles on my old ABIT BE6.
As a result, I can't watch a DVD anymore - well not decently, the image is shaking...
Anyone got a clue?
