I'm thinking about upgrading my pc to a pentium 4, and I'm trying to decide between Aopen AX4PER and Gigabyte GA-8PE667 (don't have many more options in the shops around here...)
Which one out of these two do you think is best? I'm not interested in any special features (such as SATA, Firewire...). All I'm looking for is Hyper Threading support, that's why I chose the intel 845PE chipset.
I've been searching in many forums and it looks like the AX4PER causes no problems at all (or no one has this mobo). On the other hand, I've read about some problems with the GA-8PE667 which don't affect me (but they are still problems, and that I don't like).
Anyway, can you advice me?
If someone has an AX4PER (or similar) and works fine please let me know.
