AOpen AK86-L -- Foo bar? Help

Found a cheap refurbished AOpen AK86-L mobo.

I am planning on buying a Retail Boxed AMD 64 3000 CPU.

However, it's missing 2 parts.

The parts missing are:
- The chipset (?) heatsink that says "Aopen" --- I found a 3rd party heatsink to fit plus adhesive, I think I'm ok on this.


- The black frame around the CPU socket. See that? How important is that... do I really need it... can I get another one? Options?
