I posted here earlier about not being able to run my new board at the 133 fsb. I thought it was the PCI divider not going to 1/4 as the board would quickly crash, and SiSoft Sandra reported insane PCI bus speeds and a 1/3 divider when 133 fsb was enabled.
Turns out that Sandra has a bug that misreports the PCI/AGP bus speed, divider on KT133A chipsets running at 133.
Problem solved by disabling AGP 4X in BIOS. Anand just reviewed my board and my experience matches theirs, it will not do over 140 FSB, despite my having good Infineon Memory that will do in the 150's when the FSB is set to 100 and bumped up.
I removed the heat sink on my board, stipped off the cheesy thermal tape and put some grease under it with a dot of superglue in each corner to hold it on. Perhaps heat buildup is an issue.
It is running stable at 136X9 (1,224) with an 1 gig T-bird. Can't complain too much I guess. I wanted a 145 fsb though...
