Hi Folks, I installed this mobo some time ago, the print on the mobo was so small, and manual didn't point out exactly where to plug the power for the floppy drive. At the time that was no big deal 'cause I don't use it. But now it is, I'm needing to add a maxtor hd and its driver is on a floppy.
I've checked/ searched Aopens on-line manuals, faq's and their own forum for mobo's and get no hits.
Could any of you all please post where exactly I'm supposed to plug the floppy power at on the mobo.
When I was using the Asus A7v-133, it's manual and the print on the board made it easy to see where to plug in the floppy, on the AK73, and with my bad eyes, I can't figure it out at all.
I plugged in my other floppy drive and I get the same thing: Led lite stays on steady, and on boot up I get message "floppy drive not detected" or something close to that. I figure it must be that my "guessing" of where to plug in the floppy power is all wrong.
