Ive had this board for 2 months now and tried overclocking it when i first got it without the gold finger device. Did not have very good luck as i was afraid to go over 1.75volts. Well, that was my mistake. Last night i decided to raise the fsb up to 115 once again and this time i decided to raise the voltage a hair up to 1.80. Would'nt you know that was the sweet spot all along. I could have been running this thing at 748 and have just been running it at default because i could'nt get it to run stable. Well, just wanted to let you all know about this board because i have not heard many people talk about it and it is a good board. Especially w/o a gfd and generic pc100 memory.
[edit] Also, ive run q3 on it for about 3 hours with no lock-ups so it appears to be holding strong so far!

sweet, how's the stability overall?
never a lockup or anything?
i want to build an Athlon system soon and I was considering that board and a K7-800

my main concern is stability, performace is all so similiar and features doesn't matter to me either, neither does expandability
i only have 2PCI cards and my AGP video card

anyways, cool!

ciao!

This board is VERY stable. It has to do with the capacitors behind the cpu among other things. I can overclock it to 115fsb x 6.5 to get 748 w/o a gold fingers device. I have NEVER had a lockup in 3 months at default cpu speed. Had occasional lockups at 115fsb until i raised the voltage and it never locks up now at 748.
