I dont have AOL so I wouldn't know this and I dont feel like waiting for an answer from those guys.. I know aol 5 doesn't work with NT because of some driver issues. Last time they told me use the 16Bit version. Does AOL5 work with W2K ?
 
Normal AOL 5.0 will not work properly in Win 2k. It will not dial the phone or work with TCP/IP. Go to the link below and download AOL 5.0 for Win 2k. They just released it and it works fine in 2k.

The new Aol 6.0 beta works in Win2K, and I haven't had any problems with the newest release of it.
