I'm thinking about getting a job as an AOL tech support guy, i wonder if anyone has anything to say about working for AOL. It looks pretty good on paper, $10 an hour, 18 paid days off, lots of medical benefits. I can't imagine it being too GOOD of a job, but it's not likely i'm going to find a job i like anyways. Anyone think it's a bad idea? Anyone who previously worked the same position?

Just make sure you don't have a loaded gun in the house or you'll fire one off in your mouth by the end of your first week.

if you have the patience to support aol members (who we all know aren't the brightest the interweb has to offer)--go for it.

If I'm not mistaken, wouldn't it be your duty to calm the people frantically calling because their email says "forward this to 20 people or you will be deleted from AOL" and they only have 18 people in their folder?
