AOL IM 4.3 is out...

every new version of aim gets more bloated with useless crap

i like the old, thin client, that had nothing but a buddy list and chat, no more

I personally like the new version for the fact that you can get your buddy list for your username and you dont have to right down or save buddy lists to floppies whenever you have to format your harddrive.

AOL software gets crappier with every upgrade. I remember when I used to use AOL 3.0 and loved it. Then I upgraded to 4.0, 5.0, 6.0... and it's just gets worse/slower.

Anyways AOL IM is all the same, there is no significant changes in sending instant messenges, which is the only function I use in AOL IM. I could care less about the other crap.

AIM does file transfer much faster than ICQ, I don't know why. That's why I like it, that and I hate pressing shift+enter to send a message 😛

I wish it had warned me about that IM list thing. I have two completely different IM lists one on work computer and one for the home PC. It deleted all my home IM names because I use AIM at home.
