AOL Antivirus - Powered by Kapersky

I tried a search for AOL .. Active Virus Shield and came up with nothing.

So it looks like AOL is offering a free antivirus powered by Kapersky. Fan Boyism or not, this sounds potentially awesome. I haven't installed it but if the brave people wanna try and post some sort of results on behalf of the community do so!

Heck it looks like Kaspersky v6.0 with an AOL badge. I will try this on one of the pc's at the office and report back. This has the potential of being a hot deal.

would you know, or anyone can tell me why ...

when i install this AOL AVP, all my internet connections become dead? I cannot connect to my router (WIRED) and when the ethernet finally resolves, i recieve a limted connection.

I've uninstalled AOL AVP and the problem ceases but only comes back to a dead internet state when it's installed.

any help is useful.

weird. I do have the native windows OFF. I have Sygate Firewall and i even turned on the ALLOW ALL function. I'll play with it more later.
