Anywhere to download Full Version of Office 2000 SP's?

I need to download SP1 , SP2 and SP3 to install for Office 2000. It seems that you need to be connected to the internet to do these updates.

Is there anyway I can download the full SP's to my Hard Drive and then burn them to CD? It would save me a lot of time.

What you are asking should work. You do not need to install the downloaded SP immediately. Office SP download.

The one on this site is the 134k one that downloads the rest of the files from the internet.

I wasn't even aware there was an Office 2000 SP3. It doesn't appear to be a major update though (just some security fixes).

Service Packs are cumulative, so I see no reason for you to need SP1 or SP2.

I do believe that you need to install SP1a before you can install SP2 or SP 3, I don't believe they are cumulative with Office 2000. I know with Office XP they are though.

I think my best bet is to do an administrative installation and patch the SP's directly into the installation and then I won't have to worry about it.

My apologies.

I tried to do an update and as you stated, you get an installer program.

Only suggestion that I can think is to get a virgin system with Office installed on it.

This will burn up a lot of time (3-4 hrs) and may not be worth it for a few systems.

Run the SP installation and determine what files are added/overwritten.
Burn those files to CD.
Re-install the virgin Office.
See if you can succeed in getting the fiels from the CD and making Office work properly.
