Anywhere to d/l a Win98/2K image file? :(

I'm away from home right now, and my laptop is hosed. I didn't bring any software with me. I have XP back home. I'm at a friends house out here, but she doesn't even have any freakin floppy disks *rolleyes*.

I was using my laptop, when I got a BSOD, then it said "core memory dump". When I went to reboot, it comes up with the XP splash screen, then hits a BSOD that says UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME.

Not sure what the problem is, if my HDD is toast, or my XP install got corrupted...I'd like to try and reinstall M$ Windows though.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Don't think of it as "piracy", rather, just a 30 day trial run until I get home so I can put my copy of XP back here

Yeah I wasn't sure of the exact rules, haven't been here in a while, and never to the OS forum I don't think. I'm just at a desparate point right now 800 miles from home stuck in a hotel room with a hosed laptop. I'm trying all means necessary heh.

you can find the boot disks here http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm

I am not certain if the bootdisks contain the FIXBOOT or FIXMBR command but you can always try it.
