Hi, I'm new to the world of ADSL service. Since I live in the backwoods of VT, braodband service is just starting to show up.
But, I've gotten myself a ADSL ISP. And I don't care what the ISP says, there's gotta be a way to tweak more outta this puppy. Right?
It's ADSL service, using an Allied Data Technologies modem and Linksys Etherfast NIC. Not sure of the Allied Data model number yet, but it's in the Copperjet series, like and 810 or 812. I do know it's G.lite type of service. Anyone have any pointers/ideas for me?
Oh, and is there really that much of a difference between 10/100 cards? And what may those differences be? Thanks in advance,
j
