Anyway to turn off your computer on a timer?

I want to listen to my music while i sleep without running the power bill up the butt. Anything thats easy and effective?

Use windows scheduler to shut down? (I think you can do this).

But the best way would be to find out the options for shutdown (shutdown /? at the command line) and just do something like... shutdown.exe -s -t 3600 (one hour)

Leaving your computer idleing with out any load and monitor off draws little power.

Usually I just do radio\tv Sleepmode 30min.

I did that alot back when my tinnitus was bothering me but I've gotten over it for the most part.

dunno about audio specific, i just know media player classic has a "shutdown" or hibernate/standby after playback option. it can play mp3s too so it would work i guess

I used to use a program called Turn Off, but I can't find it anymore.
