Does anybody out there know if it is possible to split a motherboard USB connector? My motherboard's USB connection is being used by the front USB's on my PC case. I would like to add a SD, ect. card reader in the 3.5 slot. But I don't have any available place to plug it in......

Is there any type of splitter, or y cable, or am I sol?

thanks

if you are just looking more usb ports, you can add a pci card for it, and they usually have a few external ports and 1 internal port. fairly inexpensive. this one is in canadian dollars. If this is what you mean.

I'm trying to add an internal sd/compact flash/ect. reader in the 3.5 spot. All the readers I see require a motherboard USB connection.?
