anyway to save HOTMAIL messages on HD?

Since mailbox is only 2MB, is there any way to save everything I have to HD?

Use a mail client to download the messages to your machine.

Microsoft Outlook XP and later supports Hotmail. Connect to your hotmail account and create a pst on your PC. Move messages to pst.

You should be able to do something similar with outlook express.

It's very easy with Outlook Express. When you add a new account with the wizard that comes up, it will recognize the hotmail.com in your address and automatically fill in the necessary connection info.
