Anyway to Remove Wavemaster Front Fans?

I ordered some vantec stealth fans in an effort to quiet my wavemaster a little more, but I can't see a way to remove the front two fans because of the HD bracket in front of them which is riveted to the case bottom. Is there something I'm missing or is it just not removable?

If it's like other Coolermaster cases, you need to remove the front of the case to get to the screws holding the fans in. You'll probably need an allen wrench to do it, and look really well for all the screws holding the face on.

You need to open the front of the case by taking out two screws. The bottom piece of curvy metal can be opened like a door to reveal the fans and their screws. To take out the screws, open the top door, (CD bezel door) and look on the left side of the horizontal piece of metal on the top of the lower half bezel. You will see a small screw and take it out. The other screw is on tht bottom on the case in basically the same position. The door will then swivel out just like the upper bezel and you can easily swap fans. I swapped my stock fans with some Coolermaster LED fans with higher CFM rating, but you can put quieter fans on it as well. PM me if you need help.

Jeez Lian-Li also has some weird fan setups.

The front fan of their V1000 is fine, but only fits 120x25mm fans. I wanted to get my 120x38mm Panaflo in it, I went through some weird stuff to get it to fit. I flipped the fan rack inside out so it's sitting behind the mount for it, then inserted a screwdriver through the passive cooling holes to screw the thumbscrews down. The filter doesn't fit anymore, but what good does a filter do on a case like the V1000.

My rant of the day.

An excellent question, since the air being filtered IS ALREADY INSIDE THE FUC$%IN CASE!!!
