Anyway to pull the Norton Antivirus 2005 Activation key from Registry?

I have a few systems that I maintain that will be getting a fresh Ghost image installed on them soon. They all have Norton Antivirus 2005 which was originally activated over the Internet. The problem is that these machines no longer have access to the Internet so if I Ghost them and then re-install Norton Antivirus, I'll need to call to get the activation code. I was hoping that Symantec stored the activation code somewhere in the registry so I could essentially go in and re-activate them without needing to call Symantec.

If I do end up needing to call Symantec, does the code change if the hardware doesn't change? That is, if I get the code once can I just keep it in a safe place and whenever I need to re-Ghost the machine, I just enter the code for that particular machine again?

Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance!
