Anyway to make DVD movies?

I think this is video related-
Is there any DVD-RAM drive i could buy that allows you to make DVDs that are accepted in at least normal computer DVD players? I'm an independant film producer and I'd like to try to put a few copies of my work on DVD for my pickier clientel!

I know that Panasonic used to make a DVD-RAM drive. The last I checked it was around $500, but that I was a year ago, so hopefully it's come down in price. I would go to their site or do a search on killerapp.com or pricewatch.com
