Anyway to lower vcore on P4 by shorting pins ?

I want to install a new mobile chip inot my divx/games rig. I have a 2.0ghz laptop chip to replace my current 1.4 so I should be able to hit the same speed (12*200-2.4ghz) but with lower vcore. Unfortunately my motherboard has no vcore adjustment so I would have to alter pins, anyone know how?
