Anyway to look up a date and see the average temp/rainfall on that date?

Weather Underground has a graph of yearly temperature, rainfall, and snowfall. You can also see numbers for a specific day, just plug in the month, day, year. You might be able to customize something if you can't get what you want with the normal views.

Depends on where you live too, if it has info for you city.
