Anyway to know who is gonna start for Montreal Canadiens in goal tonite?

This link talks about Jose versus Jeff and clearly shows that Jose is still number 1 in Montreal. As a result, it is the exception (versus the rule) for Hackett to start, but it sounds like you can count on him for one start a week (for around 26 games).

My guess is still Jose tonight.

I am pretty sure Jose is still #1 but i am looking for a source of info that will tell me ahead of time when hackett is gonna start. I had brent johnson but his injury is forcing me to get another goalie as stop gap arrangement.

I my hope is that canadien will play hackett more inorder to showcase him to potential teams.

This hasn't been the case recently (last two weeks) because Theodore has played quite well. Hackett is a bit of a risk because of the number of starts he will be getting. However, I think you can count on him doing well in his starts when he gets a chance. The best way to find out ahead of time is to monitor the online local newspaper (Montreal Gazette) or the teams website a few hours before the start of the day's game.

A stop gap measure for the rest of this week might be to pick up Jamie McLennan since he is starting for Calgary in place of Turek who is out with a broken finger. He may or may not still be available.
