Some of my drives are pretty full, but thats the way it is when you have mp3s and stuff. xp keeps complaining and bringing up the discspace wizard thing. anyway to turn off this nagging annoyance? i need to turn off this #@% userfriendliness:p

I dunno either, but would like to know. My C drive is only 500mb, so I only have purposely put about 100mb of stuff their. However, WinXP only reports about 30mb left! I've turned C drive off for swapfile useage, and I've turned off Restore for that partition, but WinXP is using it for something that doesn't show up even though I have system and hidden files set to show.

Damned to know what's going on! :(

Hey, I know how to turn that crap off! :)

Go to Control Panel/System and click the Auto Updates tab. The last option there turns Auto Update off.

Nefro: BTW, your thread in "Operating Systems" (or someone elses of the same name as this one) contains some Reg entries which eliminate the Low Disk Space crap. I tried it and it works!! :D
