Anyway to increase laptop audio volume?

Hi, I have the volume control settings maxed out and I can barely hear anything. Please let me know if their is software that can increase the audio volume. TIA

I had the same problem on my Compaq laptop. If you will install the windows sound driver instead of the one that Toshiba uses, it might make it a LOT louder. It helped mine a lot. I'll try to find a link telling how to install the windows driver.

Ok......try going to windows update and do custom install. See if there is an updated Windows driver for your hardware. If there is, let it install and reboot and see if your sound is louder. This came from the R3000/z5000 forums but it should work the same on your laptop. Good luck and let us know if it worked.

never heard of a new driver making it louder I have the same problem with my dell when I want to watch movies with friends in the FOB.. please do explain in more detail if you can..
