anyway to hack a ip35 pro?

is there any type of hack for the IP35 pro that would allow you to run SLi on it? Like modifying inf files or something? or is there something i can do with the video card inf files to make it work? i know i read somewhere that this can work (not with this mobo) but on other ones in the past.

The X38 could run sli if there were drivers. It wouldn't be possible on a P35 even with hacked drivers.

why not if it has 2 x16 physical PCI-E slots as the IP35 Pro does?

Problem is that there are no hacked drivers for 8xxx gpus & nVidia is now strongly encrypting that section of the drivers to prevent hacking.

With P35 boards both x16 slots don't run at full speed. The first slot runs at 16x the second only runs at 4x.
The X38 and X48 chipsets have both X16 slots working at 16X speed.

i heard of someone successfully doing it on a P5B board on xtremesytems but they didn't post a link to the project. so wouldn't it be feasible to do it on a updated board if you can do it on a older board with even less features?

I 've seen drivers for the 975 chipset but not for 965.

mostly true but the Blitz runs x8+x8.

However, that shouldn't affect whether it would work or not in the same way that it can run Crossfire at x16+x4.
I imagine that it's possible using the hacked drivers if you use 6 or 7xxx series GPUs but there isn't much point when an 8800 will outperform that.

Nvidia is supposedly working on something similar to ATI's Hybrid Crossfire. I'm not sure if it will be backwards compatible, or only for newer chipsets.
