Anyway to get rid of the "safely remove hardware" icon when using a SATA HD?

Other than hiding it, of course? You'd think windows would be smart enough to not even give you the option of stopping the only HD in the system.
 
It seems like there is no way to disable that from showing with SATA HDDs installed, but you can hide the icon 🙂

Right click taskbar > Properties > under the Notification Area click Customize > under Current Items you change the icon to "Always hide".

Also, i think it only happens with nForce chipsets.
