Hold in shift and click the link will open it in a new browser. Right click on link and select " Open link in new tab" for tabbed browsing.

I think he wants to know how to make it open in the current window. No tab or new window

While we're on the subject, what do I need to do to fix this problem. Middle clicking a link would usually open the window in a new tab in the background.

Please oh please, someone tell me how to get this back. Something to do with the Mouse Gestures Extension I installed?

sometime's it's useful. open a new instance of the window and you still get the back button in the new window.

You know how many times I've wanted to do that? I'd give you a number but I can't think of a single time, right now.
