I'm trying to get the directions to Fedex from work on google maps, but the directions they give me aren't the ones that mapquest are giving me. I just like the maps that google provides better than mapquest. however I want to go the mapquest route using the google map website instead.

is there anyway to do an alternate option on google or anything?

Like that's 1/2 as good as internet mapping.

No, it's better you can take it with you and if you get lost, you can still find your way around.

Change the street address to one closer to a different major route.
I noticed that if an address that's close to a main thoroughfare on one side of town is used it'll grab that major road and map from it even if there is an interstate highway on the other side of town that provides a much shorter route.
IOW, you'll need to outsmart it.

Have you heard of something called .. oh man what are those quirky things called again ... printers? And you know they print you the maps as well as the directions. And google maps even can break down segment by segment maps for you if you like.
