Anyway to get a phone number for someone located in the Military?

Long story short:
I need to contact my old manager, who is now in the Air Force. I do not know what base he went to, but even that was two years ago, so it could be somewhere else by now. Is there any sort of public directory that anyone can access?!? I just need an email/phone number, anything.

Or, is there a 800 number I can call, and have them relay a message?

If anyone knows anything, I would be most appreciative. Thanks.

Know what base they're at? If they have a desk job, try e-mailing them. Most bases use the following format for e-mail account: firstname.lastname@basename.af.mil - couldn't hurt

Someone in the Air Force may be able to login to the Air Force Knowledge portal and look him up. The Army has a directory with name, e-mail address, rank, etc. that you can search to find people's e-mail address information.

Yeah, that's a good possibility. But I can call any generic number as well, if they are able to relay a message to him.

But, if someone is able to get internal access without breaking any rules, then by all means PM me.

easiest way is to call someone in the airforce, and have them look them up. as rogue said, there is a directory that has name, rank, assignment, etc.

Every base has a post locator person/office. Call the main base # (if you know the base).
