anyway to figure out what email address a gamertag was registered with?

My brother's 360 died, and it order to get it repaired you need to register the console onto your gamertag and all that crap. He has a gt, but doesn't know what email address he used to set it up. Whenever I put in all of his address in to the 'reset password' box they all come back as not being registered with live yet. Is there any way of figuring out what email address he used?
 
You should be able to call MS Support and do it over the phone instead of going through the website to do it.
