Has anyone seen the incredibly annoying new sprawling web ads that are on Yahoo sports?

Click on the link below if you've never seen any of these ads: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab

You either see a huge bottle of tums sprawling all over your web browser screen or a hand that reaches across your screen. These ads are not the usual pop-up variety or banner ads.

They virtually cover the entire web-page and cover up all text, links and photos underneath them.

I have never seen anything like them before? Are they flash??? Anyone have any ideas on how to disable 'em???

Sorry - don't see 'em. All such ads are blocked in my system by Tweak-XP. I can also block them with Zone Alarm Pro 3.0 now as well. :)

Am I the only one able to see these ads?

Can anyone else verify that they see these ads too? Perhaps my IE settings are lax?

I can see them too, I don't use an Ad Blocker at work. My IE security settings are set to Default.

I can't see them here at work, and I know there is no ad-blocking software on this PC, so it may be random based on where you came from.

Mitzi:

Do you know of anyway to block these new ads??? They are QUITE annoying to say the least. Banner ads could at least be ignored, but these ads cover up the text on the screen.....pathetic what they are doing nowadays. I'd be willing to pay for Yahoo, so as long as to get rid of some of these stupid ads.
