Anyway to disable a game controller?

For some reason my wireless keyboard shows up as a game controller in Vista. When I try to play a head-to-head game in Sega Rally Revo, the keyboard overrides one of my other controllers. I've tried uninstalling the keyboard software, but it didn't help, nor did changing the preferences in advanced properties. Any ideas?

According to the Mac ads you are supposed to downgrade to XP or buy a Mac

Not 100% since im at work but,
control panel-- game controllers --- then advanced, select preferred device?

It has the mouse integrated into it. So it's either plug a wired keyboard and mouse into my HTPC, or figure out a way to avoid it being seen as a game controller.
