Anyway to check on my PSU?

I have a msi k8n2 ultra with a 3000+ bartron AMD with 512 ram with a ATI X800XL 256MB AGP card. The downfall...I have a 300 PSU Comp-USA brand PSU. So right off the bat everyone is going to say, yep thats the problem ... cheap PSU. Playing games such as WOW even at 800x600 with no options on and the card set to opt. performance I still get low frame rates almost unplayable...I am even underclocking the chip. So do you think its maybe the low CPU power that I get low frame rates or just the fact I have an old cheap PSU. If I grab a nice new 500watt brand name should I get an overall better computer and be able to play WOW in all its glory since I have a nice video card?
Thanks

Your poor video card is probably throttling it's clockspeeds down from lack of power!! Compusa brand power supplies are junk, and a 300watt piece of junk is even worse!

Do your system a favor, give it more juice! (name brand please!) 😉
