Anyway to Access Recovery Console w/o Admin Pass?

Allright, so my friend's mom's computer locked up, and he needs to get into recovery console to fix it, but she doesn't remember the administrator account password to get into it. Is there any way around this?

If a blank password doesn't work, then you'll have to reset the Administrator password using one of several Linux-based CD or floppy programs available on the 'Net.

Absolutely correct!! There are numerous apps that will allow you to reset the password.
