Anything wrong with this health plan?

Its an HMO so they will tell you who you can see, when and what pants to wear to that visit. You have ZERO out of network benefits unless it is a true emergency in which case they state they will review the claim.

Copayments seem fairly low however they have lots of "per test" fees which could be a problem for you if they are things you do on a regular basis. Overall this would be a decent cost effective plan for a younger disease free person who normally only uses coverage for yearlys and sick visits. If you have any chronic issues you would need to read up more on those specifc sections.

If you travel alot this is also not the plan for you. Check to see where there doctors / hospitals are you make sure they are close to your area.

I'm a 21 year old healthy male with no chronic conditions, looks like this is the plan for me then. I've been uninsured for the last 3 years, I figure any assigned doc is better than no doc at all.
