Anything wrong with this combination?

What's wrong with overclocking with this mobo?

The VIA K8T800 chipset doesn't have locked SATA ports and so you'll probably get data corruption on your hard drives past like 230 FSB.

Just spend some more money and get an EPoX 9NPA+ Ultra...that is a great OCing mobo (nearly as good as DFI Ultra-D) with a lot of features

Generally speaking VIA chipsets are not that overclockable (with some exceptions). If you're going to overclock, look for boards with chipsets by Nvidia and ATI.

Tell us what price range, features and graphics interface you are looking for and someone can recommend you a decent overclockable board that fits those requirements.

Mine on my asus a8v did not wan to work full stop, i had to use that extra controller on the deluxe versions.

Your talking about the original K8T800 which doesn't have the lock. However this mobo has the K8T800 pro chipset which does have it.

No reason to get an AGP board these days unless you absolutely must use an old AGP vid card you have lying around.
