Anything wrong with switching drive letters in WinXP?

Switched my d:\(hdd) and e:\(cdrom) drive letters yesterday. Just wondering, anybody know of any negative effects of switching drive letters?

This topic is OS, not General Hardware related.

There shouldn't be a problem with WinXP. But some programs out there not done correctly could get messed up. They may have hard coded registry keys or something similar with the drive they were installed on. Of course, if your D: now E: hdd is only data, then that won't be a problem.
