Anything with 2 pigs and a pickle is now a Cuban sandwich

I remember when a Cuban was ham, slice of roast pork, swiss cheese and a thick sliced pickle.

nowadays i've seen any 2 pigs (ham, bacon, roast pork, sausage, Canadian bacon), pickle chips and swiss cheese called a Cuban.

I don't mind any 2 pigs, but pickle chips like what they serve at McDonalds? uggg..

Cheesecake Factory has a passable Cuban sandwich - though not as good as the ones I used to get when I lived in Tampa...

One local fast food Mexican place sells a Cuban burro with pork roast, ham, pickle slices, yellow mustard, and mayo wrapped up in a tortilla. It is pretty good. I don't remember it having cheese.
