Anything to worry about with a 3-4 year old 24" LCD?

I'm thinking about picking up an old Dell 2405fpw 24" LCD... I have two 2005fpw right now and absolutely love them. Haven't found a reason to upgrade, but I need a new monitor for my home office and found one of these for around $250 on Ebay.

Should I be worried if that the monitor is going to be dying after that much time? Or is it not really an issue?

Or do you think I should just go with a different 24" monitor?

I agree, there's no way to know what the power-on hours are for that unit until you get your hands on it and look...

Might last another 5 months, or 5 years.

Good picture quality, decent response time and extremely versatile functionality has kept the Dell 2407FPW at the front on my desk since its release. I love top of the line and their are better monitors but this one is so nice I'm completely content with it matched up with my 5870.

Same here. Ever since I purchased my 2405 back in "05, I have upgraded a few systems since then but the monitor has been a main stay for my gaming purposes.
