well, you'll need burning software such as nero or easy cd creator

most burners should come with SOME type of software....

i suggest using NERO

good one erub 🙂 Yeah go with Nero. It has a lot of features that look confusing at first but it is quite powerful.

If you are using Wxp, you don't need anything, for now.
After you get more knowledge, you might want to do more and use other soft.pkgs.

I agree that Nero is best all around.

Then again, packet writers...Wxp has a decent semi-packet writer.

CDRW's (4x) or higher are good for data.

Depending on what os you are running (wk2) you may wanna find a little proggie called force aspi just in case you need it. but i doubt you will

Get CloneCD to "Backup" all your Software CDs.

Nero 5.5 and CloneCD and good media that burns at the speed of your burner. You willbe in business. Stay away from roxio EZCd creator. It doesn't play well with other good software like Nero and CloneCD.
