i just got a popped motorcycle tire (dunlop d207 55r17-180) and replaced it with the same tire (despite the d207s are being replaced with the 208s shortly). Can i sell the tire to anybody (again, the tire has a small hole the size of a q-tip head in the center of the tread) or should i just pitch it? Other than the small hole, it only has 500 super light miles on it with almost full tread. It seems a waste to pitch a perfectly good (well, sorta) tire, so....

I know you can plug car tire holes... but I wouldn't want to take that risk when you only have 2 tires under you. ;)

i'm not looking to personally re-use the tire. Riding on a plugged tire is a death trap.

And yet you're willing to sell it to someone else? It's not going to be any safer for them you know. Pitch the tire.

i thought there might be a company that can re-manufacture the tire without melting it down or professionally melting in a new section.
