Leaving from Michigan, heading south for a few days. Probably stopping in Bristol, WV for a bit. Anything neat to do, anywhere cool to go? We're trying to avoid touristy type stuff, probably not going to Atlanta. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, anywhere along the way to buy cheap cigarettes.

So you're driving from Michigan to "southern" Georgia for a few days? There's got to be a purpose to this trip.

Stopping in WV? Holy crap, are your standards low. WV is about "this big." Do yourself a favor and KEEP DRIVING until you're out of that state. Nothing there but meth labs and 17-year old unwed mothers of four. And Bubba. OF course, Bubba.

Complete your mission without being distracted by any nightclubs or bars; none of them are worth your time. BUT...the BBQ places are definitely worth your time. Stop. Eat. Leave.

goto East Georgia, Cow Tipping, pick up somebody's Cousin from a Bar then Fight to keep them.

:shrug; I got nothin

Savannah, Tybee Island, St. Simons island, Jekyll Island. Those are all great locations and in the area. Savannah is a great little town that can get touristy, but not in the sense of buying souvenirs on the corners. There are some good restaurants and nice scenery; plus, you get a sense of the old south.

Tybee, St. Simons and Jekyll are nice beach locations.

Savannah. SCAD is down there so you can probably pick up some art students. Supposedly a fun little town. My friend went there and he had a blast. Nice place to go to house parties, hang out on porches and enjoy some beer and get completely hammered. Just depends on what your fancy is.

I've never been south of Ohio so I'm not too worried about being disappointed, and we've already done the whole New York thing. I kinda wanted to go to Maine but it's cold like a DQ blizzard up there. The weather down in Georgia looks damn nice right about now.

Excellent  We were looking at a few of those spots, Jekyll Island in particular. I am looking forward to some good eating.

Most of our drinking probably will be outdoors, would be interesting to find a party, but I don't think any of us know anyone down there.

Look to the east, and keep going until everything turns blue.

I'm sure nearly drowning in the ocean will be on the agenda at some point.

Don't need to know anyone. Just go out to a bar, meet some college kids and ask if they know of a party going on. Worst case scenario you get brutally murdered. Best case? A threesome. The good kind.
