Anything in the rumor mill?

I'm just curious if there are any estimates out there on when the next gen video cards will be released. I'm ordering my new parts soon and if it is right around the corner I'll wait on them... if it's months away I'll order now 🙂

From what I've heard, they will be released mid-to-end of Summer. The specs so far are just rumors, but these cards should provide a worthy increase over the next generation.

Paperlaunch this Spring and general availability to consumers by mid-Summer.
(best case)

check the Inquirer for up-to-date and relieble "rumours" 😉

this sounds right on track...

the trend has been this way for a while now

Yeah, it kinda sucks though. Save\earn enough money to buy a top end card, which, by the way, is my first top end card, save for my beloved Voodoo3 3500 [.. remembers Glide and GLQuake\II ..] :frown:. Boy, I miss that card... Anyway, my previous cards were reserved to mid-range cards. Now, just as I get settled in, and am amazed at the performance, something new comes along and blows everything currently available out of the water. Damn, computers are more expensive than cigarettes and booze and pron combined 😉 🙁 Not that I know about any of that stuff anyway.
