Anything I need to know before the 64 bit plunge?

Ok resolved to update myself from an Athlon 2200 to a 64 bit 2800 chip.

My plan was to use all my current components and simply swap the board and the processor.

Couple of questions:

Are there any weird power issues that my fortron 300w power supply should be aware of with this combo? (I don't run an uber high graphics card).

I think I've decided on this board - but would like your comments.

The most important things in a board for me are twofold - reliability and an EASY to read manual. I am a newb assembler and the front panel wires always gives me a ton of grief.

I've only previously put together an asus board and it was ok. I don't know much about aopen - it just seems to have a great following on newegg.

3rd - I need confirmation that pc2700 ram will be fine with this combination. (I have 1 x 512 meg pc 2700) chip - and cost is a big concern.

The board.
