anything i can do with an analog tv tuner card anymore?

analog card, trash or is this thing still useful? pretty sure i don't have any tapes to transfer anymore.

It will still function as a capture card you just can't get the OTA chennels anymore. I would suggest a digital tuner box to go along with it but for $40 you can get a digital tuner card.

Save it until they decide to bring back analog TV. Everybody I know, including me, has horrible signal strength issues with Digital TV. I think that Digitial TV will be death of broadcast television.

If you have cable instead of OTA, major networks, local stations and local government stations should still be available with a direct connection. At least, that's how it works for Comcast in King County: only channels 30 and above will require a DTA once they finish rolling out their eeeville plan.

it must depend where you live. i get much more channels now that are perfect 95% of the time
