That's very nice.

If going higher is unstable, then i'd suggest lowering the RAM divider to see if allows for higher OCing.

Also, you can always bump up vcore if it's not high already...
 
It might go faster if you raise the voltage 😉

Not even 1.4v and you're already almost at 3ghz, jesus. That's one hell of a chip.
 
Well if you could make it faster it wouldn't be by much. You should be very happy with a stable 2.97 ~ Nice O/C 😎
 
i like the voltage on that thing, i would take 2.97ghz anytime

what avalon said if u really want a suicide shot of how fast the chip will go
 
Ok, one other problem im having, when ever I shut down the computer for the night and try to boot it back up, it wont boot with the FSB at 270mhz and I have to take it back down to like 220 or something like that. Im not sure if it has something to do with the voltage or what, but it just wont boot at 270 when I first turn it on.
